hi,
let’s go to nature for the perfect analogy of what blok is experiencing right now:
when a rose is blooming, it doesn’t gracefully open into the sunlight. instead, it suffers. the outer layers stretch and tear. the bud resists.
even for the beautiful rose, growth is painful.
and that’s blok right now:
> we’re out of stock > app bugs are getting amplified > customer support is through the roof
dani of the past would feel ecstatic, but dani of the present feels overworked.
last week i gave naval ravikant a blok in his own hands and didn’t even have the time to write about it in my daily journal cause i had to go back to work haha.
i’m sure this will pass and looking back it’ll seem like an exciting time, but in the present it’s feeling more like a hustle and a “go go go” day-to-day.
it's kinda exhausting tbh. but alas…
i am feeling v grateful this is my life right now.
many days i get stunned and surprised about things that happen. serendipity is at its highest and i’m loving every moment of it.
for example, we recently got invited to sponsor a surf competition! we also got contacted by an elite basketball camp to hook up their athletes w bloks!
many such cases...
today, blok is like a painful, blooming rose :’).
k enough of that, lemme give you some cool app updates:
1/ break bloks are now fixed so feel free to use the f*ck out of them.
2/ we added blok world profiles. if u have a streak of 3 or more go to ur name and create it.
3/ location-based blocking + share features are coming in the next update. more on that soon.

this journey is sometimes lonely but it makes it all worth it when you are by our side rooting for things to work out.
it’s what makes my world go round.
